3. Preheating Device Adjustment

The supporting preheating device comprises a pair of 110 V 150 W heating blocks. Its opening and closing actions are synchronized with the rear sealing roller and centrally controlled by the M4 motor. As a preheating process before formal heat sealing, the device softens the film fin in advance, effectively improving heat uniformity and sealing fastness, and eliminating wrinkling and incomplete sealing caused by temperature differences.

Preheating temperature shall be dynamically adjusted according to machine speed and film thickness. Higher production speeds and thicker composite films require appropriately increased preheating temperature to match operational rhythm and ensure stable preheating effect.

4. Speed and Tension Adjustment for Front and Rear Sealing Rollers

To maintain consistent film tension and prevent seal edge slackness or tensile deformation, manual speed control knobs (Item 1 in Figure a, Item 6 in Figure c) are installed at the bottom of the front and rear sealing rollers for independent speed regulation.

1. Core Speed Matching Principle: The rotational speed of both front and rear sealing rollers must be slightly higher than the linear running speed of the packaging film. This ensures the film fin remains under mild and continuous tension during operation, effectively avoiding slackness, accumulation and wrinkling. Both roller sets are driven by straight-tooth bevel gears at the end of the transmission shaft with unified speed regulation logic.

2. Speed Regulation Operation: Turning the knob clockwise increases roller speed and tightens the film fin; turning counterclockwise reduces speed and relieves tension. Excessively low roller speed will cause operational abnormalities such as loose fins, film deviation and seal misalignment, which require timely fine tuning.

5. Critical Operational Precautions

1. All tension and speed adjustments must be performed during normal machine operation. Adjusting in a stopped state cannot achieve accurate tension matching, which may lead to parameter deviation and defective sealing quality.

2. All tuning operations must be gradual and steady. The adjustment rate shall match the machine running speed. Rapid or excessive turning of adjustment knobs and bolts is prohibited, as abrupt tension changes may cause film deformation, fracture and abnormal component load.

3. Speed adjustment must be performed with proper tactile feedback and within the standard stroke range. Forced adjustment at the mechanical limit is strictly prohibited. Forcible rotation beyond the limit stroke will abrade and damage the bevel gear drive belt, resulting in transmission failure, unexpected downtime and increased maintenance costs.

4. After commissioning, run the machine at no load for 1 minute to inspect film feeding status and sealing quality. Mass production can only proceed after confirming no slackness, wrinkling, incomplete sealing or deviation. Regular inspection of roller pattern wear and belt condition is required for daily equipment maintenance.
