Composition and Adjustment of End Sealing Structure of Packaging Machine

The end sealing unit of Weilong packaging machine adopts an upper and lower cutter set structure equipped with an upper sealing knife and a lower sealing knife respectively. The two sealing knives are independently mounted on a rotating main shaft to perform continuous rotary sealing and cutting movements. The entire rotary end sealing mechanism is driven by a servo motor with precise synchronous control, ensuring stable operation, high sealing accuracy and excellent sealing tightness of finished products during continuous packaging operation.

Two sets of arc tooth profiles are machined on the meshing contact surfaces of the upper and lower sealing knives. Weilong packaging machines are standard-fitted with transverse V-shaped sealing teeth, with three evenly arranged V-shaped grooves in the single-end sealing area. The sealing knife width ranges from 220 mm to 350 mm, which meets the heat-sealing process requirements for common packaging materials. A dedicated mounting groove is reserved at the middle of the arc tooth profiles of the upper and lower sealing knives for installing upper and lower trimming knives. Featuring a compact and reasonable overall layout, this structure facilitates disassembly, assembly and maintenance, and is suitable for high-volume continuous packaging production.

To accommodate packaged products of different height specifications and achieve flat end sealing, firm bonding and uniform appearance, vertical fine-tuning of the central height of the end sealing knife holder is required according to product dimensions. The height adjustment handwheel is installed inside the end sealing cabinet. Per the theoretical design standard of the equipment: the vertical distance from the meshing center of the upper and lower sealing knives to the working reference plane equals half the height of the packaged item. This design ensures uniform distribution of sealing pressure, and guarantees complete sealing and qualified appearance of individual packages.

When switching production to products with different heights, the end sealing height can be automatically adjusted via pre-stored product height parameters, or manually adjusted using the handwheel or numerical input on the touchscreen to precisely match product dimensions. This effectively solves process defects such as sealing offset, insufficient heat-sealing fusion and trimming deviation, stabilizing the packaging quality of finished products. In case of a large adjustment stroke for the end sealing height, the lower sealing knife guard of matching size shall be replaced to avoid mechanical interference, so as to maintain continuous and stable operation of the sealing and cutting process and neat appearance of product seals.
