Technical Specification for Lower Sealing Knife Guard
1. Function Description
The lower sealing knife guard is an annular structural component installed at the lower sealing knife position. Its main function is to prevent packaged products from falling at the end sealing seat and ensure that the packaged products always maintain a nearly horizontal state during conveying, thereby ensuring sealing accuracy and packaging appearance consistency.
2. Technical Parameters
The lower sealing knife guard adopts an annular shield structure (cylinder with flange structure), installed at the lower sealing knife seat. The material is food-grade 304 stainless steel with brushed surface treatment, surface roughness Ra≤1.6μm. The fixing method is screw fastening, detachable and replaceable, facilitating equipment maintenance and specification switching.
3. Specification Selection
The guard size shall be selected according to the height of the packaged product (H). This model can be adapted to four specifications of guards, with a cylinder length of 220mm for all.
Specification 1: Radius R is 52mm, applicable to product height ≤10mm, L dimension is 28mm.
Specification 2: Radius R is 47mm, applicable to product height 10~20mm, L dimension is 23mm.
Specification 3: Radius R is 42mm, applicable to product height 20~30mm, L dimension is 18mm.
Specification 4: Radius R is 37mm, applicable to product height 30~40mm, L dimension is 13mm.
4. Maintenance and Replacement
It is recommended to inspect the lower sealing knife guard monthly. Replace when wear exceeds the standard. Key inspection items include surface wear, deformation, and fastening looseness.
